Join Us for a Unique, Intensive Acting Workshop

Elevate your on-screen performance in this hands-on workshop designed for actors serious about their craft.

Day One (10am-5pm) kicks off with a dynamic, expert-led masterclass focused on refining your technique and deepening your understanding of performance for the screen. You'll work closely with seasoned professionals John Connors and David Merriman to sharpen your skills and build confidence.

Before the workshop, participants will be provided with selected scenes to prepare.


Day Two each participant will be given a time slot between 10am-5pm to come in and shoot their scene. They will work with John and David to ensure the best performance on the day.

Each participant will receive a professionally filmed and directed personalized reel of their performance—a rare and valuable asset for your portfolio.

This is a one-time opportunity to gain invaluable experience, expert direction, and high-quality footage to showcase your talent.

John Connors, the first Irish Traveller (Minceir) director, is also an Irish actor, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, playwright, and human rights activist who has broken new ground for his minority community in Ireland. He is best known for his role as Patrick Ward in the Irish crime drama series Love/Hate and for Cardboard Gangsters in which he won best actor at the 2018 Irish film and television awards John Connors' directorial debut was in 2016, where he co-directed and presented John Connors, The Travellers, winning the 2018 IFTA for best documentary series.

David Merriman

David Merriman

David Merriman is an artist from Dublin, Ireland. He directed ‘Re-Creation’ (2024) alongside Jim Sheridan, the award winning Documentary film ‘The State Of Being Human’ and the Documentary concert film ‘Rock Against Homelessness’ for Virgin Media in 2020. David and Jim Sheridan continued their collaboration by writing ‘Kerry Babies,’ which David will Produce with Sheridan directing.
